This is an hands-on course in which you will be taken through all stages involved in processing a complete denture in IvoBase injection moulding.
You will flask, inject and de-flask one denture which you can take home to polish and use as a demonstration model for your laboratory or practice.
While processing dentures you will than have a change to get hands-on with our gum characterization composite system SR Nexco. The use of this product will be explained and you will shown how to apply this to acrylic to dramatically improve the pink aesthetics of your prosthetic work.

Deze masterclass vindt plaats op 14 en 15 oktober 2021 bij Dental Union in Nieuwegein.
Both patients and dentists increasingly demand restorations made of all-ceramics that cannot be distinguished from the natural tooth structure. The challenge is to copy nature, achieve a perfect colour match and fabricate esthetically superior restorations. This course affords you the opportunity to learn all relevant parameters. IPS e.max Ceram is a low fusing nano-fluorapatite glass-ceramic. Apatite crystals in the nanometre range enable a unique combination of translucency, brightness and opalescence to be achieved. Its easy handling properties and esthetic potential make working with IPS e.max Ceram an extraordinary experience.
The objective of this master workshop is the reconstruction of the upper incisors using three different layering techniques and designs. Special shade formulations such as those used for the new Power Dentin and Incisal materials will be explained in detail and their application in a lifelike manner will be demonstrated. The individual layering techniques shown also include the one-bake technique as well as the basic bake method involving internal staining and characterization.
Each participant will receive a maxillary model with teeth 11 and 21 prepared. Participants will be asked to fabricate three copings based on a preparation list, using either:
• unshaded, translucent zirconium or
• IPS e.max Press, MO 0 or LT BL3.
This course is aimed at ceramists with specialized knowledge in the field.

IPS e.max lithiumdisilicaat en zirkoniumoxide bieden nieuwe esthetische opties voor het creëren van uitzonderlijke natuurgetrouwe restauraties, ongeacht de gebruikte techniek.
In samenwerking met Ivoclar Vivadent organiseert Dental Union een tweedaagse Masterworkshop met CDT Michele Temperani.
In de afgelopen jaren zijn patiënten steeds meer geïnteresseerd geraakt in esthetische herstelprocedures. Als gevolg daarvan is de vraag naar volledig keramische restauraties sterk gestegen. Door gebruik te maken van innovatieve keramische componenten, zoals de nieuwe lithiumdisilicaat translucente materialen en zirkoniumoxide kunnen we nieuwe esthetische opties bieden voor het creëren van uitzonderlijke natuurgetrouwe restauraties, ongeacht de gebruikte techniek.
In deze workshop worden één centrale snijtand, één laterale snijtand met een disto- of mesio-incisale hoek-inlay en één molaar en vervaardigd met behulp van de nieuwe IPS e.max materialen.
Zowel een geperste glaskeramische onderstuctuur als een zirkonium kroon worden opgebakken met IPS e.max Ceram waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van IPS e.max Ceram, IPS e.max Ceram Power Dentin massa, Selection massa en IPS Ivocolor, middels een laagtechniek. Alle gebruikte technieken zullen zowel theoretisch als praktisch worden gepresenteerd. Tijdens elke fase worden fotografische technieken en tips, samen met hoe je het beste een multimedia case presentatie maakt, gedemonstreerd en uitgelegd.
Tijdens de hands-on cursus krijgen de cursisten de mogelijkheid om een voorgevormde brug in hars van 6 boven-front elementen te voltooien en te verfijnen om de esthetische concepten toe te passen en te harmoniseren op de vorm en de oppervlaktetextuur van de elementen te perfectioneren.
